The Department of Training and Doctrine (DTD) examines and analyzes the roles, duties, and responsibilities of the noncommissioned officer spanning over 200 years of American history from the mid-1700s to present. In addition the department examines and analyzes the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) on its innovation and agility, and that quickly adapts to shifting world, national, and institutional situations, in both peace and war. TRADOC’s adaptive character and culture ensures our Army remains the Nation’s “force of decisive action.”
